The truck built the modern world. The ship connected its coasts. Coastlines and islands and river deltas that go unserved for hundreds of kilometres. We are building what comes next: Hybrid-electric STOL aircraft that take off and land from the simplest airstrips and the calmest waters, carrying cargo across 800 kilometres in the time it takes a truck to clear a border or a vessel to find its berth. Land or sea. River or runway. Arctic outpost or tropical archipelago. Wherever freight needs to move, we move it. This is not a luxury aircraft. This is a workhorse—built for freight, built for the hardest routes, built to land where nothing has landed before.
Our story
India is the fastest-growing aviation market in the world and already the third-largest domestic aviation market, yet most aircraft flying in the country are designed and built elsewhere. Cligent Aerospace was founded by Harsh Joshi and Vivek Dhut with a bold ambition: to build an Indian company that designs, builds, and sells aircraft to the world. Both founders gained experience developing advanced aerospace systems at companies like Azista Aerospace, GalaxEye Space and others as well, bringing global exposure and deep technical expertise into building a new aviation venture from India.
OUR VISION
Wings instead of Wheels
You know how a truck carries things from one place to another? It drives on roads. But what if there was no road? What if the place was across the water, or up in the mountains, or just really, really far away? That is where we come in. We built an aircraft that can land almost anywhere — on a small patch of ground, on calm water — and carry cargo just like a truck would. No big airport needed. No long road required. Just take off, fly over everything in the way, and land right where the stuff needs to go. Simple as that.
